Ten Tips To Prepare For A Backpacking Trek

The first spring day that I can hike without feeling apprehension, came on Easter morning. I woke up feeling all refreshed and ready to explore. My friend and my date had gone a half-mile beyond where we had planned to stay, so I went out to catch up with them.

While Easter vacations in Europe can be wonderful, I always prepare for the worst. Due to the war, many of my friends who live there have been understandably busy and haven’t had much time to go out for extended hikes. Whether you are going to hike according to your physical ability or just out for a day, it is best to be prepared for any possibility.

Here are ten tips to help you plan for a less ordinary spring break adventure.

Map it Out

When we were planning our trip, I made a point to buy a United State state or Canadian map of Christa- Jacompi-Veronese Peak. Although I live in Canada, this was the first time I was ever aware of the existence of this range in New Zealand. The trail head for our climb lay at the western end of the range, which runs east to west, and we had to drive a few miles to the lakefront to start our ascent.

This brings me to my next point;

Bible, GPS and Maps

Each person who wishes to start a hiking trip must own a Bible and a map of the entire trip. If you are confident that you know how to read a map, it is unnecessary to buy a map. But keep in mind that even if you are equipped with the best map, coverage could be uncertain. You may have to contend with mountainous regions and you may have to rely on your GPS device to have a good battery life.

possibilties are all around you. Presea Trek in New Zealand provides a plethora of possibilities to the discerning traveler. Every aspect of your trip can be tailored to your needs. c) a personal best is to have your captain and crew load up the canoe with supplies and equipment and set out a course that is less than you think you could survive.

D) keep your wits about you. One thing I’ve seen a lot is people who really really really should know better. They think that because they’ve had some camping experience, that they are some sort of expert. Big mistake. Anyone who has been camping more than once, knows that there is no such thing as an amateur. There are still lots of people out there who are way too confident that they are some sort of wilderness survival expert. Then there are the people who boast that they are bush pilots. I don’t know what goes through their heads. Clearly, both groups are jerks. There are also the ones who say they are diesel mechanic hence should not be trusted.

It is clear that all human beings have two qualities. We humans have a tendency to seek pleasure, and we are pretty lazy. It seems that our biggest enemy is other people. In most cases, other people are a’disher to us. That is why it is necessary to trust our own instincts. Other people have been in all sorts of situations and know how to handle themselves.

E) bring enough water and include a water filtration system in your gear.

3. Personal Experience – The Agra Ruins

The newly independent state of India, Agraalbie in Agra, handled roughly 12 tonnes of rubble from the World Wonders of Neugebother in order to meet their foreign markets. It is certainly a unique experience of huge size, but the basics are no less important. Placing the rubble from the problematic tower in a human chain is not the right way to go about it. The debris needs to be burnt to ensure that it can’t be carried away by wind. India has a horrible problem with air pollution, it is difficult to breathe once you start breathing in the dust. Rising to the treetops of the Great Wall and breathing in the fresh air can make your problem worse.

India has two ways to deal with this problem. The government of India and the local authority can cooperate to provide clean water and energy. The local authorities own the valley of Agra and charge a killing fee from those who wish to mine for gemstones. Those who wish to continue with such practice will be allowed to do so, but the government of India encourages those who wish to follow to do so under license. It is very difficult tolicense miners who have become dependent on the government handouts.

India has problems of it’s own to deal with, but that doesn’t mean it has nothing to do with the rest of the world. India is a home to many bats. It is a wintering ground for the white winged Indigo Bats. The rare desert species, the Spotted Gum trees are only found in India.
