Back in the 1940s, campers mostly stayed at park-run facilities such as Dallas’ Ranch Road or Henry Ranch (give me a break!). Yuppie camping wasn’t what it is today.

I sure miss my old friend Sydney. The man would swing town to town if given the chance. He loved Dallas and always looked forward to his Dallas camping trips. Those were some fun times.
