It is somewhat depressing to me when I meet with fellow campers and hear them discuss their camping trips. This is particularly true of younger people. They seem to get more upset about the things they don’t have than the things they do have. Things such as cold feet, sore muscles, sore heads, and rainy days are constantly mentioned as problems by campers.
It is in fact a sad phenomenon. Camping should be enjoyed by everyone and having the ability to enjoy it without the ability to agree on aspects either. You see, people who don’t enjoy camping need to get out into the countryside where they can enjoy God’s wonders. I would say that it is rather a depressing time when people are so engrossed in their day to day lives doing things that they don’t enjoy.
But it doesn’t have to be like that. There are steps you can take to try and make things easier. Today there are many camping products on the market that will enable you to enjoy camping much more. There are table lanterns, camp stoves, pyrometers, barbeques, and many more that will help you to be able to enjoy camping much more.
But one of the best items that you can buy to help you to enjoy camping is a caravan. It is a place where you can keep all of your essentials, such as food, drink, tins etc. Here you can have the opportunity to go to enjoy the scenery, to explore, to relax and to sightsee. Many of us know the rhyme “If you’re hungry come a knock at night”. Well, this is exactly what a caravan is for. It is a place where you can have all of your food, drink and tins all in one place.
Popular Caravan Sites
When talking to friends, I often met people who had toured different caravan sites and said something like “There was nothing like touring around the country”. You know what I mean. There is something about the atmosphere of a caravan park or camp site that is very appealing.
There are quite a few caravan sites in this country that have been voted in the “top tenBest Visitors Destinations”sites in the UK. If you want to see some of the best places to go camping, this is the place to be. Here you will find mostly luxury but very well maintained camp sites.
Camino – Spain
The Camino is the main tour for Santiago. It is generally a bus-only tour and the most popular with tourists. People have been visiting the Camino hopping from site to site for several months at a time.
You follow this path and visit many of the sights that are so famous around the world. But as well as the historical and cultural significance, you will find a large diversity of cultures and traditions along this route. The city of Santiago is a significant stop-over on this tour.
Eureka Falls
One of the natural wonders of the world is Eureka Falls. Located on the upper Overthing boarder of the Camino de Santiago, it is a 250-foot waterfall with impressively strong winds. The area is far removed from most cities and enjoys a very mystical feel.
This is a great place to have a sit down and stretch out with a book. I can imagine the sounds of the stream water gurgling over the rocks as the strong winds blow it downstream.
The other nice thing about the Camino de Santiago is that you can pick it and choose the time of your arrival to it. Some will arrive at agreed upon stops and others will be free to roam around at their own pace.
Because the Camino de Santiago is a path rather than a trail, it is subject to wear and tear and the guides have to be CPR certified. So you are well advised to carry a first aid kit at all times.
The main downside to this path is the level of discomfort you will experience in walking it. Every step is a challenge to your balance and fitness level.
It is highly advisable to get a tour deal done prior to your visit to Spain. This will include the accommodation, train options, meal times and site preferences. This makes it easy for you to prepare for your journey and to arrange the activities you desire to participate in.
Having a Spanish partner is a great way toMany accept foreigners as friends as they learn Spanish. However, it is advisable to learn a few bits of the language incase you meet locals.
So incase you Wants to bump into a few fellow travelers on your trip; pull out your holiday brochures and add them to your routine. At the very least, you will have the trip reviewed by a member of your travel group.
This way you can ask questions as the other members of the travel group engage in their own interests.
